Asteria Expeditions specializes in exceptional expedition voyages to both the Arctic and Antarctica. As a pioneer in the Belgian market for polar expeditions, we offer a carefully curated portfolio of individual expedition cruises . as well as full-ship charter solutions tailored to the needs of clients, travel agencies, corporate groups, and incentive travel. Over the past 25 years, our expertise has enabled us to develop and operate exclusive full-ship charter itineraries in the Arctic that had never been offered before, opening up new possibilities for polar exploration. Our expeditions to Antarctica and Northeast Greenland are developed in close collaboration with the descendants of Adrien de Gerlache, honouring the legacy of one of Belgium's greatest polar explorers. On every Asteria charter to these regions, a member of the de Gerlache family joins the voyage, sharing first-hand insights into their family's remarkable polar heritage and offering guests a unique historical perspective that cannot be found anywhere else. We are passionate about authentic exploration and believe that smaller expedition vessels provide the most immersive and rewarding polar experience, offering greater flexibility, closer wildlife encounters, and access to remote locations beyond the reach of larger ships. With a strong focus on expertise, operational excellence, and personalized service, we provide access to some of the world's most remote and extraordinary destinations.
