Sailing Expeditions B.V. operates the traditional two-masted expedition schooner SY Meander out of a deep, enduring dedication for Svalbard. We are committed to delivering exceptionally safe, high-quality Arctic voyages in full compliance with the latest flag state regulations and AECO guidelines, believing strongly in the vital mission of responsible polar tourism. Deep respect for nature and wildlife drives every aspect of our operations. Through our strict engine room environmental policy, clean up Svalbard passion and close work with the port of Longyearbyen, our waste management is a mission. Furthermore, our chefs actively minimize food waste, and we routinely clean beaches and retrieve marine trash whenever spotted during our voyages. Guided by seasoned nautical crews and skilled polar expedition leaders, we combine deep regional expertise with a flexible, adaptive approach to our daily itineraries. This allows us to deliver truly unforgettable, authentic Arctic experiences while maintaining absolute respect for the fragile ecosystems around us.
